Katherine Clyde Harris
November 13, 1943 – March 17, 2016

Memorial services for Katherine Clyde Harris, 72, of Climax, GA, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 22, 2016, at Clark Funeral Home Chapel, Cairo, GA. Elder James R. Smith, Jr. will officiate. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Cairo, GA. Mrs. Harris passed away at Memorial Hospital, Bainbridge, GA, on Thursday, March 17, 2016.

Mrs. Harris was born on November 13, 1943, in Del Rio, TX, to the late Walter Dillard Babb and Mae Edna Overton Babb. She was a graduate of Ysleta High School in El Paso, TX and Texas A&M University. She married John E. Harris of Charleston, SC, on August 25, 1967. Together they walked down the pathway of life hand in hand for 48 years; from Texas A&M, to Brazil, to Australia and through 40 other countries along the way. Kathy was an accomplished pianist who loved serving the Lord through her music. She was a primary school teacher, a devout Christian and loving wife, daughter, sister and aunt. She will be greatly missed and remembered by all who knew her.

Survivors include: her husband, John E. Harris of Climax, GA; brother, James W. Babb of Clifton, TX; nephew Coleman Babb of Vail AZ; and niece Elisa Thompson of Stephenville, TX.
