Memorial services for Katie Beatrice Brinkley, 63, of Bainbridge, GA, are at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, April 10, 2016, at Hilltop Bible Baptist Church, Cairo, GA. Pastor Glenn Scoggin will officiate. Services will conclude at the church. Private interment will be in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Cairo, GA. Ms. Brinkley passed away at Memorial Hospital in Bainbridge, GA, on Friday, April 8, 2016.

Ms. Brinkley was born on January 16, 1953, in Pelham, GA, to the late Hugh Lee Brinkley and Beatrice Reaves Brinkley, who survives. She worked as hostess at the Charter House in Bainbridge for many years. She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include: daughters, Stephanie Hall (Jarrod) of Athens, AL, Katie Rena Pyles of Atlanta, GA; sons, Bobby Joe Lockhart (Angie) of Clanton, AL, Ernie Smith of Valdosta, GA; 4 grandchildren; mother, Beatrice Brinkley of Cairo, GA; brother, Cyrus Brinkley (Cheryll) of Whigham, GA; and sisters, Lynda Houck (Charles) of Havana, FL, Brenda Caudill (John Wayne) of Lexington, NC, Barbara Hill (Shelton) of Eufaula, AL. She was preceded in death by her father.

The family will receive friends at the church immediately following the memorial service at the church.
