Funeral services for Emma Elizabeth Harrell Samford Hobbs, 90, of Tallahassee, FL, are at 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 16, 2016, Full Gospel Church, Cairo, GA. Rev. Robert Crapps will officiate. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Cairo, GA. Mrs. Hobbs passed away at Big Bend Hospice in Tallahassee, FL, on Thursday, May 12, 2016.

Active pallbearers will be Harrell Samford, Garrett Samford, Mitch Whitfield, Daniel Hobbs, Gavin Whitfield, and Connor Whitfield.

Mrs. Hobbs was born on April 13, 1926, in Buckhorn, FL, to the late Robert and Melissa Corbin Harrell. She was a secretary with Road and Building Contractors, and of the Christian Faith.

Survivors include: sons, Harrell and Carolyn Samford of Brookeville, IN, Garrett Samford of Tallahassee, FL; daughter, Jean Samford of Tallahassee, FL; grandchildren, Daniel and Bridgette Hobbs of Tallahassee, FL, Mitch and Michelle Whitfield of Thomasville, GA; great-grandchildren, Connor and Gavin Whitfield both of Thomasville, GA; brother, Glenn Harrell of Titusville, FL; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by: parents; husbands, Mitchell Samford, Marion Doc Hobbs, and John Edward Quigg; grandchild, Jedidiah Luke Samford; brothers, Lester Harrell, Dub Harrell, Son Harrell, Commodore Harrell; sisters, Theo Lawrence, Ruth McKenzie.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, GA, on Sunday, May 15, 2016, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
