Memorial services for Arva Lou Adams Morgan, 85, of Cairo, GA, are at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 18, 2016, at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, GA. Rev. Chad Cooper will officiate. Services will conclude at the Chapel. Private interment will be in Sylvania Cemetery in Decatur County, GA. Mrs. Morgan passed away at Memorial Manor, Bainbridge, GA, on Monday, May 16, 2016.

Mrs. Morgan was born on August 21, 1930, in Pavo, GA, to the late Virgil Joseph “V.J.” Adams and Elone Lou Clark Adams. On August 20, 1948, she married Herbert E. Williams, Sr., who preceded her in death on October 11, 1964. In 1968, she married Charles L. Morgan, who also preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include: her children, Marsha Williams of Whigham, GA, Nita Williams of Tallahassee, FL, Jimmy Williams of Bainbridge, GA; 8 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; husbands, Herbert E. Williams, Sr.; Charles L. Morgan; son, Eddie Williams; and one brother and one sister.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 18, 2016, immediately following the memorial service.
