Graveside funeral services for Esther S. Dekle, 99, of Cairo, GA, are at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 25, 2016, in the Cairo Cemetery, Cairo, GA. Rev. Allen Hartsfield will officiate. Mrs. Dekle passed away at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville, GA, on Tuesday, June 21, 2016.

Mrs. Dekle was born on August 11, 1916, in Bell, FL, to the late George Shepherd and Cora Johnson Shepherd. She was married to Joe Dekle, Sr., who preceded her in death. She worked with the W. B. Roddenbery Company for 46 years. She was of the Christian faith.

Survivors include: son, Joe Dekle, Jr. (Angela) of Cairo, GA; daughters, Elinor Waldrop of Whigham, GA, Wanda Willis Boosinger (Jay) of Tallahassee, FL; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews and extended family.

She was preceded in death by: husband, Joe Dekle, Sr.; daughter, Judy Willis Camarillo; sons-in-law, Dwight Mobley, Ruben Camarillo, Donald Waldrop, Sr.; grandson, Donald Waldrop, Jr.; great-grandson, Jeremiah Mobley; and 5 sisters.
