Robert Franklin Stuckey

Robert Franklin Stuckey, 83, of Climax, GA, passed away at his home in Climax, GA, on Tuesday, October 25, 2016. Private services will be held at a later date. The family will receive family and friends at the home of Bobby and Susan Stuckey, 2875 Collins Road, Whigham, GA, on Saturday, October 29, 2016, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Mr. Stuckey was born on March 17, 1933, in Whigham, GA, to the late Paul Stuckey and Eula McConnell Stuckey. He served his country in the United States Army. He was married to Lois Thomas Stuckey, who survives. He was a heavy equipment operator that was employed with Robert Brothers from Quincy, FL. He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include: wife, Lois Thomas Stuckey of Climax, GA; children, Bobby Stuckey (Susan) of Whigham, GA, Gary Stuckey (Sharon) of Cairo, GA, Patricia Cox of Pelham, GA, Sue Atkinson (Kenneth) of Cairo, GA, Phyllis VanNess (Carl) of Eldorado IL; grandchildren, Beverly Shirley (Ryan) of Bainbridge, GA, Brian Atkinson (Jenny) of Cairo, GA, Michelle Cox (Dale) of Cairo, GA, James Cox, Jr. of Pelham, GA, Sherry Osborn (Rex) Whigham, GA, Stephanie Bufford (Mike) of Thomasville, GA, Dallas Johnson (Melissa) Cairo, GA, Levi Stuckey of Cairo, GA, Ashley Hurst (Burt) of Cairo, GA, Ansley Stuckey of Whigham, GA; and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife and mother of his children, Louise Hall Stuckey.
