Doris Daughtry Patterson

Doris Daughtry Patterson, 77, of Cairo, GA, passed away at her home in Cairo, GA, on Monday morning, November 14, 2016, surrounded by her children and loved ones. The family will have a private memorial service.
Ms. Patterson was born on November 25, 1938, in Cairo, GA, to the late Alvin Daughtry Sr. and Myrtice Marie Walden Daughtry. She was a retired insurance processor with Phoebe Putney Hospital. She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church in Cairo where she enjoyed quilting with her friends every Monday morning. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and she will be missed.
Survivors include: daughter, Sharon Ingram Dietrich (Jim) of Madison, FL; sons, Keith Ingram (Dale Jackson) of Pensacola, FL, Michael L. Ingram (Luz) of Altus, OK; grandchildren, Victoria Seago (Jordan) of Alabama, Bethanie Hubbard (Michael) of Illinois, Chase Dietrich of Florida, Gwen Brakebill (Bobby) of Oklahoma, K.C. Rice (Patrick) of Oklahoma, Billy Ingram of Oklahoma; eight great-grand-children; brothers, Alvin Daughtry, Jr. (Paulette) of Thomasville, GA, Paul “P.D.” Daughtry (Maxine) of Thomasville, GA, Larry Daughtry (Cha-leen) of Chuluota, FL, Ralph Daughtry (Nola) of Cairo, GA, Eddie Daughtry (Beverly) of Calvary GA; sisters, Merle Bell of Cairo, GA, Annette Shinn (Donald) of Cairo, GA, Jackie Merkison (Donald) of Riverdale, GA, Glenda Herndon (Billy) of Fayetteville, GA; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
