John Joseph Topakian

Funeral services for John Joseph Topakian, 57, of Hudson, FL, are at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 11, 2017, at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, GA. Wayne Horten will officiate. Services will conclude at the chapel. Private interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Cairo, GA. Mr. Topakian passed away at Marliere Hospice Care Center in New Port Richey, FL, on Tuesday morning, February 7, 2017.

Mr. Topakian was born on March 7, 1959, in Sarasota, FL, to the late James J. Topakian and Ida Marie Massè Topakian. On October 28, 1986, he married Marian Watts Topakian, who survives. He was an over the road truck driver and worked for M & J Trucking, Oil Dry Corp., Robert Bearden, Inc. and Crete Carriers. He was of the Catholic faith.

Survivors include: his wife of 30 years, Marian Watts Topakian of Hudson, FL; daughter, Kaitlyn Topakian Cook (Timothy) of Hudson, FL; sisters, Mary Rose Randall (Bruce) of Rock Hill, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Saturday immediately following the funeral service.
