Funeral services for Nancy A. Smith, 65, of Calvary, GA, are at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, February 11, 2017, at Calvary Baptist Church, Calvary, GA. Rev. Rob Cronin will officiate. Interment will be in Piedmont Cemetery, Calvary, GA. Mrs. Smith passed away at Archbold Memorial Hospital, Thomasville, GA, on Wednesday, February 8, 2017.

Active pallbearers will be: Bob Maxwell, Jack Williams, Steven Butler, Rob Hurst, and Bobby Williams.

Mrs. Smith was born on May 26, 1951, in Bainbridge, GA, to the late Carson and Agnus Saddler Barfield. On September 30, 1969, she married Bill Smith, who survives. She was homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include: husband, Willis F. “Bill” Smith of Calvary, GA; sons, Franklin A. Smith of Calvary, GA, William Smith of Douglas, GA; daughters, Elizabeth A. Dentz of Calvary, GA, Jennifer L. Turner of Bainbridge, GA; grandchildren, Hannah Brooke Dentz of Calvary, GA, Eion Fletcher Turner of Bainbridge, GA, Adam Smith of Thomasville, GA; sister, Margie Barfield of Pelham, GA.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; a sister, Sonya Poitevant.

Memorials may be made in Mrs.Smith’s memory to: The American Cancer Society.

The family will receive friends the hour prior to the funeral service at the church.
