Funeral services for Kathleen Donaldson Butler, 89, of Cairo, GA, are at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at Centennial United Methodist Church, Cairo, GA. Rev. Wayne McDonald will officiate. Interment will be in Centennial United Methodist Church Cemetery, Cairo, GA. Mrs. Butler passed away at her home in Grady County, GA, on Saturday, March 11, 2017.

Active pallbearers will be: Jason Hanson, Nick Hanson, Will Butler, Ben Butler, Bruce Butler, and Shane Padgett.

Mrs. Butler was born on December 19, 1927, in Cairo, GA, to the late James W. Donaldson and Ruth Marie Brinson Donaldson. She was married to William Enos Butler for 42 years, who preceded her in death in November of 1985. She retired from the W. B. Roddenbery Company. She worked for ten years with the Grady County Board of Education as a teachers aide. She loved her family, her friends and was a devoted member of Centennial United Methodist Church.

Survivors include: daughters, Mary Patricia Orr of Cairo, GA, Virginia Caroline Hanson (Kenneth) of Greensboro, GA; sons, Billy Butler (Susie) of Cairo, GA, Tommy Butler (Lee) of Cairo, GA; grandchildren, Jason Hanson, Nick Hanson, both of Atlanta, GA, Will Butler (Stephanie) of Cairo, GA, Ben Butler (Donna) of Orlando, FL, Julie Padgett (Shane) of Valdosta, GA; sister, Pauline Padgett of Nashville, TN; brother, Ralph Donaldson (Hedy) of Cairo, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.

She was preceded in death by: parents; husband; and brothers, Lamar Donaldson, Robert Donaldson.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Monday, March 13, 2017, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
