Funeral services for Peggy Ann Reffitt Thomas, 69, of Whigham, GA, are at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 11, 2017, at El Bethel Baptist Church, Whigham, GA. Rev. Bob Knight will officiate. Interment will be in Butler Cemetery, Whigham, GA. Ms. Thomas passed away at Camellia Gardens of Life Care in Thomasville, GA, on Sunday morning, April 9, 2017.

Active pallbearers will be Brian Harrell, Randy Moore, Colby Moore, Shannon Reffitt, Mack Smith and Jerry Tate.

Ms. Thomas was born on October 21, 1947, in Jacksonville, FL, to the late Clay Reffitt and Aldene Haire Reffitt. She worked with Hud’s Mini Mart Stores for many years. She was a member of El Bethel Baptist Church in Whigham, GA.

Survivors include: a son, Richard Brown (Laura) of Whigham, GA; grandchildren, Trent Brown (Morgan) of Whigham, GA, Haylee Brown of Whigham, GA; brother, Kenneth Reffitt (Uschi) of Whigham, GA; sisters, Mary Tate (Jerry) of Cairo, GA, Betty Harrell of Climax, GA, Judy Sadler (Ronnie) of Pelham, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Monday, April 10, 2017, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
