Memorial services for Dewey Leroy “Lee” Ferguson, 61, of Cairo, GA, are at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 6, 2017, at the Church of Grady County, 1400 South Broad Street, Cairo, GA. Pastor Mike Mobley and Larry Green will officiate. Military Honors will be presented at the church. Services will conclude at the church. Private interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Cairo, GA. Mr. Ferguson passed away at his home in Grady County, GA, on Saturday, June 3, 2017.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Hammett, Mike Jones, Elzie Jones, Robert Bryant, Corky Sampson, Cyrus Brinkley, Ken Collins, Richard Cooper, Steve Moye, Ronnie Green and Rodney Turner.
Mr. Ferguson was born on June 27, 1955, in Cairo, GA, to the late Leroy Ferguson, Jr. and Elizabeth Quick Ferguson. He was a member of the Cairo High School Class of 1974. He served his country in the United States Air Force. He was a master mechanic with Ferguson’s. He was a member of the Cairo Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include: his children, Kelly Joyner (Jeffrey) of Cairo, GA, Travis Bryant (Jeanna) of Tallahassee, FL; grandchildren, Austin Ferguson Joyner, Landry Makayla Joyner, Tyson Bryant Joyner, all of Cairo, GA, William Travis Bryant, Samuel James Bryant, both of Tallahassee, FL; sister, Cindy Stansbury (Jim) of Lynn Haven, FL; brothers, Terry Ferguson (Sylvia) of Cairo, GA, Scott Ferguson (Cyndi) of Cairo, GA; nieces and nephews, Matthew Ferguson of Cairo, GA, Joe Stansbury of Lynn Haven, FL, Josh Stansbury of New York, NY, Casey Ferguson of Golden, CO, Luke Ferguson of Waycross, GA, Lindsey Ferguson of Cairo, GA; and the mother of his children, Wanda Bryant Ferguson of Cairo, GA. His parents preceded him in death.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Monday, June 5, 2017, from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.
