Funeral services for Junior Thomas “J. T.” Bell, 79, of Donalsonville, GA, are at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 6, 2017, at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, GA. Bobby Glover will officiate. Services will conclude at the Chapel. Private interment will be in Union Hill Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Pelham, GA. Mr. Bell passed away at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, AL, on Sunday, July 2, 2017.

Mr. Bell was born on June 25, 1938, in Cairo, GA, to the late Bob Bell and Mellie Pyles Bell. On January 9, 1965, he married Brenda Johnson Bell, who preceded him in death on July 5, 2013. He was the owner and operator of Seminole Paint and Body of Donalsonville, GA and Broad Avenue Body Shop of Albany. He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include: daughters, Beverly Bell of Albany, GA, Kimberly Bell of Albany, GA, Becky Jones of Donalsonville, GA; son, Thomas W. Bell of Florida; step-son, Kenneth Ansley of Cairo, GA; 10 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brother, Donald Bell (Annette) of Cairo, GA; sisters, Pam Roberts (Steve) of Cairo, GA, Clara Mae Griner of Cairo, GA; brother-in-law, Stoney Johnson of Savannah, GA; sisters-in-law, Merle Bell, Betty Jean Bell, Marinell Bell all of Cairo, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; his wife; step-daughter, Kay Ansley; a great-granddaughter, Cheyenne Nicole Cranford; brothers, Robert Lee Bell, Rayford Bell, Clifford Bell; and sisters, Elbana Bell, Ethel Boyette, Linda Bell.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home immediately following the service at the Chapel.
