Funeral services for Sandra Bryant, 76, of Cairo, GA, are at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 10, 2017, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Cairo, GA. Pastor Mike Nichols will officiate. Services will conclude at the church. Interment will be in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Cairo, GA. Mrs. Bryant passed away at Rockdale Medical Center in Conyers, GA, on Saturday, October 7, 2017.

Mrs. Bryant was born on July 10, 1941, in Cairo, GA, to the late Eugene Clower McAlvin and Lillie Mae Barrett McAlvin. She lived in Cairo most of her life. She graduated from Cairo High School. She retired as the office manager with Petroleum Products. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. She was a born-again Christian, who loved the Lord with all her heart. She was a daughter, wife, mother, sister, aunt to many. “Nana” was the title she treasured most.

Survivors include: daughter, Donna Donaldson and her husband, Kenneth, of Jackson, GA; grandchildren, Chance Donaldson, Bailey Donaldson, Cameron Donaldson, Jacie Donaldson, Dixi Donaldson, all of Jackson, GA; sister, Ramona Ansley of Cairo, GA; nephews, Greg Ansley of Atlanta, GA, Steve Ansley (Marie) of Sneads, FL; niece, Susan Stuckey (Bobby) of Whigham, GA; great-nieces and great-nephew, Ashley Hurst (Bert) of Ochlocknee, GA, Ansley Stuckey of Whigham, GA, Lauren Ansley of Atlanta, GA; great-great-niece, Ellie Hurst of Ochlocknee, GA; and special caregivers, Lee and Diane Monk .

She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husbands, Hugh Byrd, Riley Kenneth “Ken” Bryant; and a brother-in-law, Wilbert Ansley.

The family will receive friends in the church immediately following the funeral service.
