Memorial services for Lester Jay Moore, Jr., 47, of Cairo, GA, are at 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 23, 2017, at the Connection Assembly, 2123 Smith Ave., Thomasville, GA. Rev. Jason K. Puckett will officiate. Services will conclude at the church. Mr. Moore passed away at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville, GA, on Friday, October 20, 2017.

Mr. Moore was born on September 29, 1970, in Bainbridge, GA, to the late Lester Moore, Sr. and Margaret Patricia Laing Moore. On June 7, 2002, he married Patricia Ann Godwin Moore, who survives. He worked in the Garden Center at Wal-Mart, Inc. in Cairo. He was a member of the Connection Assembly in Thomasville, GA.

Survivors include: his wife, Patricia Ann Moore of Cairo, GA; three half-sisters; mother-in-law and father-in-law, James and Diane Godwin of Cairo, GA; and a host of nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

The family will receive friends immediately following the memorial service in the church.
