Patricia Delmar “Pat” Sasser, 76, of Cairo, GA, passed away at Grady General Hospital in Cairo, GA, on Friday, October 27, 2017. No services are planned at this time.

Ms. Sasser was born on May 30, 1941, in Colquitt, GA, to the late Steve Delmar, Sr. and Evelyn Irene Calhoun Delmar. She was a retired teacher.

Survivors include: grandchildren, Brett A. Sasser (April) of Thomasville, GA, Alyssa Beamon (Tim) of Pensacola, FL, Rachel Sasser of Pensacola, FL, Phoenix Sasser of Milton, FL, Jimmy Sasser of Tallahassee, FL, Hunter Hudson of Hahira, GA; great-grandchild, Nola Beamon, Donovan Sasser, Kyran Sasser, all of Pensacola, FL; brothers, LaVon Delmar (Mary) of Pace, FL, Steve Delmar, Jr. of Pensacola, FL; sister, E. J. Schweim (Karl) of Marietta, GA; her son-in-law, Clyde Hudson of Cairo, GA; and her favorite canine friend, Bufford.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; her children, Deborah A. Hayes, Mitzi Lynn Hudson, James H. Sasser, Jr.; and a special friend, Norman Jackson.
