Funeral services for Doris Sellars Stewart, 94, of Cairo, GA, are at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 13, 2017, at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, GA. Rev. Doug Hall will officiate. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Cairo, GA. Mrs. Stewart passed away at Pelham Parkway Nursing Home in Pelham, GA, on Friday, December 8, 2017.
Active pallbearers will be Mark Ingram, Michael Ponder, Mark Fralick and Jimmy Rehberg.
Mrs. Stewart was born on March 13, 1923, in Terricea Island, FL, to the late Walter I. Sellars and Bessie Logue Sellars. In 1941, she married Oscar Eugene Stewart, who preceded her in death on May 31, 1985. Doris loved to grow flowers. She loved God and was devoted to her family and friends.
Survivors include: daughter, Carolyn S. Ponder of Cairo, GA; grandchildren, Julie Fralick of Cairo, GA, Mike Ponder of Whigham, GA, Pam Ingram (Mark) of Cairo, GA; great-grandchildren, Kristian Ponder, Hayley Fralick, Mark Fralick, Ashlyn Ingram, Alexis Ponder; 4 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Eldon Sellars (Charlotte) of Pelham, GA; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband; brothers, George Sellars, William Sellars; sisters, Vera Johnson, Audie Pearce, Dessie Reagan, Naomi Willis; son-in-law, Abner Ponder; and a grandson-in-law, William Fralick.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 12, 2017, from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.
