Ronald W. Shoemaker, 59, of Cairo, GA, passed away at Grady General Hospital in Cairo, GA, on Thursday, January 25, 2018. The family will have a memorial service at a later date.

Mr. Shoemaker was born on March 15, 1958, in Jacksonville, FL, to the late Ralph Walter Shoemaker and Laquita Jacqueline Ford Shoemaker. On December 20, 1999, he married Debbie Smith Shoemaker, who survives. Before his medical retirement, he was an electrician that worked with Equity Group in Camilla, GA. He was a member of Abundant Life Binders and Believers in Cairo.

Survivors include: his wife, Debbie Smith Shoemaker of Cairo, GA; step-children, Brian Lindloff (Emily) of Lake Jackson, TX, Michelle Cobb of League City, TX; step- grandchildren: Isaiah Perez of Lake Jackson, TX, Austin Cobb of League City, TX; and a brother, Ralph Shoemaker of Palatka, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents.
