Jeanie Lavene Anderson, 83, of Thomasville, GA, passed away at Rose City Health and Rehab in Thomasville, GA, on Thursday, February 1, 2018. No services are planned at this time.

Mrs. Anderson was born on April 20, 1934, in Cairo, GA, to the late George Clark and Ester Brock Clark. On July 14, 1967, she married Roderic Henley “Rock” Anderson, who passed away on August 27, 2012. She retired as a LPN with Bainbridge Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Family Worship Center in Cairo.

Survivors include: daughters, Barbara Croley of Cairo, GA, Kathy McCullough (Robert) of Thomasville, GA, Sandra Rodriguez (Robert) of Tallahassee, FL, Vicki Nelson (Tony) of Lehigh Acres, FL; grandchildren, Justin Hudson of Cairo, GA, Ashley Daughtry of Meigs, GA, Jennifer Griner of Cairo, GA, Alex Hudson of Thomasville, GA, Traci Rand of Windsor, CO, Ryann Ivester of Tallahassee, FL, Miles Nelson and Andrea Nelson, both of Lehigh Acres, FL; and great-grandchildren, Aaron Hudson of Cairo, GA, Bryce Hudson of Cairo, GA, Ty Hudson of Cairo, GA, Tristen Silvey and Jet Silvey, both of Quitman, GA, Tyler, Gabriel, Chase and Zoe Ivester, all of Tallahassee, FL, Jake Griner of Cairo, GA, Harper Daughtry of Meigs, GA.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband; grandson, Jason Silvey; brother, George Clark, Jr.; and a sister, Earnestine Cone.
