Funeral services for Mary Agnes Fountain, 94, of Climax, GA, are at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 7, 2018, at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, GA. Pastor Johnny Moore will officiate. Services will conclude at the Chapel. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Cairo, GA. Mrs. Fountain passed away at Memorial Manor Nursing Home in Bainbridge, GA, on Saturday, February 3, 2018.

Mrs. Fountain was born on July 31, 1923, in Climax, GA, to the late John Harvey Hall and Lilly Mae Lynn Hall. She was married to Albert Leroy Fountain, Sr., who passed away on October 9, 1963. Until her retirement, she was a registered nurse. She was of the Christian faith.

Survivors include: son, Alan “Sput” Fountain of Climax, GA; daughter, Freida Melvina Fountain of Thomasville, GA; grandchildren, Angela Leigh Fountain, RN, of Cooper City, FL, John David Fountain of Boca Raton, FL; brothers, Randall Hall (Nell) of Whigham, GA, Tommy Hall (Pearl) of Cairo, GA, Paul Hubert Hall of South Carolina; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband; her brother, Raymond Hall; step-son, Albert Leroy Fountain; and eight brothers and sisters.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 7, 2018, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
