Billie Womble Harrison

Funeral services for Billie Judith Womble Harrison, 89, of Whigham, GA, are at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 14, 2018, at Pine Level Baptist Church, Cairo, GA. Rev. Jim Weaver will officiate. Services will conclude at the church. Interment will be in Pine Level Baptist Church Cemetery, Cairo, GA. Mrs. Harrison passed away at her home in Cairo, GA, on Saturday, February 10, 2018.

Active pallbearers will be Joey Lawrence, Sam Kines, Bryan Hayes, John Long, Terry Curles and Glenn Mobley.

Mrs. Harrison was born on July 5, 1928, in Cairo, GA, to the late Albert Womble and Della Conrad Womble. On November 3, 1951, she married James Clarence “Jimmy” Harrison. Billie was a loving devoted wife and homemaker. She loved flowers, gardening, cooking for her family, painting, crocheting and watching western movies. She was a member of Pine Level Baptist Church of Cairo, Ga.

Survivors include: husband, Jimmy Harrison of Whigham, GA; daughter, Donna Hancock (Hollis) and son, Danny Harrison (Debra), all of Whigham, GA; grandchildren, Jared Fowler of Pelham, GA, Bennett Harrison (Julia) of Birmingham, AL, Simon Harrison (Courtney) of Whigham, GA; great-grandchildren, Shayna Fowler and Jayme Fowler both of Camilla, GA, and Nathan Alan Harrison of Whigham, GA.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; granddaughter, Dayna Michele Harrison; and brother, Frank Womble.

Memorials may be made in Mrs. Harrison’s memory to: Pine Level Baptist Church Building Fund, 298 Pine Level Road, Cairo, GA, 39827.

The family will receive friends at Pine Level Baptist Church immediately following the funeral services on Wednesday, February 14, 2018.
