Graveside services for Janie Barfield Willis, 90, of Crawfordville, FL, are at 3:00 p.m., Friday, April 13, 2018, in Greenwood Cemetery, Cairo, GA. Dr. Ron McCaskill will officiate.

Mrs. Willis was born on June 27, 1927, in Vada, GA, to the late Thomas Barfield and Katie Barfield. On June 21, 1947, she married William Edward Willis, who preceded her in death on February 2, 1999. She was formerly employed with the W. B. Roddenbery Company, and of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Willis enjoyed fishing, working in her yard and spending time with her family.

Survivors include: daughter, Sonya W. Burgess of Crawfordville, FL; grandchildren, John C. Burgess of Crawfordville, FL, Suzette Wade Sims of Tallahassee, FL; five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband; daughter, Karen Willis Wade; six sisters; two brothers.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, GA, on Friday, April 13, 2018, from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m.
