Funeral services for Debra D. Prince, 61, of Silver Creek, MS, are at 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 20, 2018, at Long Branch Baptist Church, Cairo, GA. Rev. Chris Ashley will officiate. Services will conclude at the church. Private interment will be in the Prince Family Cemetery. Mrs. Prince passed away peacefully at her home in Silver Creek, MS, on Thursday, April 12, 2018.
Active pallbearers will be Joey Prince, Darrell Rich, Tony Prince, Bubba Prince, Timmy Prince and John Spivey.
Ms. Prince was born on January 5, 1957, in Cairo, GA, to Buddy Minton and the late Mildred Sellars Lawrence. She was a registered cosmetologist and homemaker. She was a member of Long Branch Baptist Church in Cairo, GA.
Survivors include: her husband, Benny Prince of Cairo, GA; daughters, Haiylee Prince (Austin Miller) of Cairo, GA, Christy Prince Tucker (Kacey) of Biloxi, MS; grandson, Zachary Tucker of Biloxi, MS; granddaughter, Ava Tucker of Biloxi, MS; father, Buddy Minton (Marti) of Kennesaw, GA; sister, Debra Gore (Patrick) of Tallahassee, FL; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by: her mother, Mildred Lawrence; her grandparents, Jessie and Annie Mae Sellers; brothers, Curtis Dorman, Marty Dorman; and a niece, Valerie Glover.
The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Thursday, April 19, 2018, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
