Funeral services for Nellie Irene Williams Clark, 85, of Cairo, GA, are at 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 30, 2018, at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, GA. Rev. Steve Wooten will officiate. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Cairo, GA. Mrs. Clark passed away at Rose City Health and Rehabilitation, Thomasville, GA, on Wednesday, April 25, 2018.

Active pallbearers will be her grandsons and great-grandsons.

Mrs. Clark was born on August 22, 1932, in Harvey, IL, to the late James Williams and Frances Irene Finchum Williams. On May 29, 1951, she married Donald Wayne Clark, Sr., who preceded her in death on January 11, 2018. She was a CNA having worked in the medical field for over 40 years. Mrs. Nellie also worked for Jobs With Dignity program with Grady County Schools, she was always at her best when serving others. She was of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include: son, Don Clark, Jr. (Vickie) of Tallahassee, FL; daughters, Phyllis Todd (David) of Cairo, GA, Donna Johnson of Cairo, GA; grandchildren, Jared Clark of Cairo, GA, Dustin Clark (Cheri) of Thomasville, GA, David Todd, Jr. (April) of Cairo, GA, Darin Todd of Cairo, GA, Jennifer Chatskiy (Dimitry) of Ft. Myers, FL, Matthew Hosfeld of Palmetto, FL; great-grandchildren, Emili Todd, Noah Todd, Grace Todd, Lindsay Todd and Tanner Todd all of Cairo, GA, Jacob Chatskiy and Jonah Chatskiy both of Ft. Myers, FL; brother, David Williams (Sandy) of Cedar Lake, IN; sister, Sharon Pikrameros of Palm Harbor, FL; brother-in-law, Art Clark of Griffith, IN; sisters-in-law, Jean Pickett, Sally Harbin, Iola Blythe and Bette Scott all of IN; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband; great-grandson, Colton Clark; sister, Willadean Davis; brothers, Jerry Williams, Roger Williams; brother-in-law, Jerry Clark.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Monday, April 30, 2018, from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service.
