Bobby Kenneth Hilton
September 6, 1932 – May 3, 2018
Memorial services will be held for Bobby Kenneth Hilton at 11:00 a.m. on May 12, 2018 at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home. Rev. Travis Harrison will officiate.
Bobby was born on September 6, 1932 in Climax, GA to Malcolm Oscar Hilton and Annie Godwin. He retired from the Englehard Corporation after 32 years of service. On April 21, 1951, he married Janice Hart and they shared 62 wonderful years together. They traveled extensively while Bobby was in the Army, and in fact, the rest of their lives. Bobby and Janice loved to travel and camp when their children were young, taking them to many exciting places. They continued to travel when they retired and were especially fond of the Florida Coastal area and the Blue Ridge Mountains. Bobby enjoyed many hobbies as he was an avid gardener, wood worker and painter. One of his most treasured achievements was restoring the old homeplace that is located on his property. The old farmhouse has been the setting for many fine family gatherings and has been dubbed “The Goat House.”
Bobby is survived by daughter, Scarlet and son-in-law Todd Cummings of Calvary, grandsons, Sean (Karin), Kyle (Heather) and Mackenzi (McKayla) and four beautiful great-grandchildren, Rolly, Jeremiah, Josiah and Sylas. Bobby was preceded in death by his wife, Janice, his son, Emil and daughter Kerri.
The family will receive friends immediately after the service.
