Funeral services for Larry Cletus “Butch” Christie, 52, of Cairo, GA, are at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 18, 2018, at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, GA. Pastor Johnny H. Moore will officiate. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Mr. Christie passed away at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville, GA, on Tuesday, May 15, 2018.

Mr. Christie was born on June 23, 1965, in Thomasville, GA, to Larry Christie and Margie Chilcott Richardson, both of whom survives. He was a logger in the forestry industry.

Survivors include: daughters, Callie Sellers (Cory) of Thomasville, GA, Amanda Toliver (Thomas) of Bainbridge, GA; grandchildren, Christian, Camdon, Claire, Allie and Chandler; parents, Margie and John Richardson of Cairo, GA; father, Larry Christie of North Georgia; sister, Julie Simmons (Roy); niece, Arielle; nephew, Jonathon; great-niece, Avery; and a host of extended family in North Georgia.
