Memorial services for retired army veteran, James Patrick Miller, 68, of Cordova, TN, are at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 26, 2018, at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, GA. Rev. Ron McCaskill will officiate, and Military Honors will be presented by the American Legion Post #122. Services will conclude at the chapel. Interment will be in the Cairo Cemetery, Cairo, GA. Mr. Miller passed away at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Memphis, TN, on Monday, March 26, 2018.

Mr. Miller was born on September 6, 1949, in Columbus, GA, to the late James Paul Miller and Evelyn Earl Pyles. He is survived by two sons, James David and James Andrew and 7 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by the children’s mother, Christine Stewart Miller.

Mr. Miller was a 20-year veteran who served in Desert Storm. Memorials may be made in Mr. Miller’s memory to the Retired Veterans or the Wounded Warrior Project.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home immediately following the memorial service.
