Funeral services for Robert Edward Barrett, 62, of Whigham, GA, are at 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 2, 2018, at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, GA. Rev. Wayne Cook will officiate. Services will conclude at the chapel. The family will have a private interment in Tired Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Whigham, GA. Mr. Barrett passed away at Bainbridge Health and Rehab, Bainbridge, GA, on Thursday, June 28, 2018.

Mr. Barrett was born on August 27, 1955, in Grady County, GA, to the late Clyde Barrett, and Dorothy Perry Barrett who survives. He had been employed with the Grady County Road Department for many years.

Survivors include: his mother, Dorothy Perry Barrett, Whigham, GA; sister, Shirley B. Banks of Cairo, GA; nephew, Ryan Bradley of Harvest, AL.

He was preceded in death by: his father, Clyde Barrett; brothers, Dennis Lamar Barrett, David Barrett; maternal grandparents, John and Eunice Perry; paternal grandparents, Pryor and Minnie Barrett.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Monday, July 2, 2018, immediately following the funeral service.
