Funeral services for William Calvin Hornsby III, 65, of Ochlocknee, GA, are at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 5, 2018, at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, GA. Rev. David Maxwell will officiate. Services will conclude at the chapel. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Cairo, GA. Mr. Hornsby passed away at his home on Monday, July 2, 2018.

Mr. Hornsby was born on December 5, 1952, in Cairo, GA, to the late William Calvin Hornsby, Jr. and Murdine Cone Hornsby. On April 22, 1972, he married Sue Hardwick Hornsby, who survives. He had been a machine operator with Koyo Bearings USA for 37 years. He loved playing his guitar and fishing.

Survivors include: his wife, Sue Hardwick Hornsby of Ochlocknee, GA; son, William Calvin Hornsby, IV, of Ochlocknee, GA; grandchildren, Ashley Celice Hornsby, Megan Nichole Hornsby, both of Cairo, GA, Gracie Ann Hornsby of Meigs, GA; brother, Ronnie E. Hornsby (Gail) of Whigham, GA; half-brother, James Willis of Whigham, GA; sister, Denise Mobley (Billy) of Cairo, GA; half-sister, Nancy Smith (Craig) of Cairo, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, LaDonna Sue Sadler.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Thursday, July 5, 2018, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
