Funeral services for Carolyn J. Hopkins, 86, of Cairo, GA, are at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 10, 2018, at Bethel United Methodist Church, Reno, GA. Rev. Wayne McDonald will officiate. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Cairo, GA. Mrs. Hopkins passed away at Grady General Hospital, Cairo, GA, on Monday, July 9, 2018.

Active pallbearers will be Ben Hopkins, Lee Hopkins, David Hopkins, Luke Forgione, Chase Williams and Bobby Hopkins.

Mrs. Hopkins was born on January 2, 1932, in Reno, GA, to the late Magnus Johnson and Maggie Lee Johnson. She married Thomas E. Hopkins, who survives. She was a bookkeeper for Hopkins Farm and a lifelong member of Bethel United Methodist Church.

Survivors include: husband, Thomas E. Hopkins of Cairo, GA; sons, Carroll Hopkins (Becky) of Cairo, GA, Tommy Hopkins (Ann) of Cairo, GA; grandchildren, Elizabeth Forgione (Luke), Rebecca Williams (Chase), Laura Hopkins, Ben Hopkins (Keri), Lee Hopkins (Nikki), David Hopkins (Candace); great-grandchildren, Tyson, Ethan, Asher, Cate, Carroll, Parker, Smith and Walker.
