Funeral services for Marinell Giles Bell, 76, of Cairo, GA, are at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 30, 2018, at Long Branch Baptist Church, Cairo, GA. Rev. Johnny Burdick and Rev. Charles Parker will officiate. Interment will be in the Cairo Cemetery. Mrs. Bell passed away at her daughter’s home in Cairo, GA, on Monday, August 27, 2018.
Active pallbearers will be Michael Smith, Eric Smith, Connor Ezell, Caleb Bell, Brian Strickland, Roger Batchelor, Brian McLaughlin, Evan McLaughlin and Darrell Welch. Honorary pallbearers will be her Pine Hill Baptist Church Sunday School Class Members.
Mrs. Bell was born on July 5, 1942, in Bluffton, GA, to the late Lester W. Giles and Emma Snipes Giles. Marinell was a vendor and self-employed. She was a member of Pine Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include: daughter, Sherry Smith (Marty) of Cairo, GA; sons, Pete Ezell (Vickie), Jeff Ezell (Lisa), both of Cairo, GA; grandsons, Michael Smith (Shelley) of Braselton, GA, Eric Smith (Jordan) of Cairo, GA, Connor Ezell of Cairo, GA, Caleb Bell of Cairo, GA; granddaughters, Ashley Ezell of Thomasville, GA, Kaylee Ezell of Thomasville, GA, Logan Strickland (Brian) of Cairo, GA; great-grandchildren, Jessi Heady, Mikalyn Smith and Olivia Smith, all of Braselton, GA; sisters-in-law, Pat Giles of Atlanta, GA, Joann Giles of Richland, GA, Martha Ezell of Cairo, GA; brothers-in-law, Rev. John Henry of Mississippi, Danny Ezell (Lenoir) of Cairo, GA; the extended Bell family; special cousins, Lorna and Jack Meier of Shiloh, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husbands, Wendell Ezell, Clifford Bell; brothers, Johnny Giles, Wade Giles, Walter “Bo” Giles, Charlie Paul Giles; sisters, Annie Ruth Champion, Laura Henry; and a brother-in-law, Jerome Ezell.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 29, 2018, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
