Robert Addison Maxwell

Funeral services for Robert Addison Maxwell, 38, of Calvary, GA, are at 11 a.m., Monday, October 1, 2018, at the Calvary United Methodist Church, Calvary, GA. Rev. Wayne McDonald will officiate. Services will conclude at the church. Interment will be in Piedmont Cemetery, Calvary, GA. Mr. Maxwell passed away at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville, GA, on Friday, September 28, 2018.

Active pallbearers will be Bill Maxwell, Bill Standley, Billy Standley, Mike Standley, Sammy Standley and Brian Armstrong.

Robert was born on May 2, 1980, in Tallahassee, FL, to James Robert “Bob” Maxwell, who survives, and the late Jeanette Gray Standley Maxwell. Robert was loved and cherished by his family, caretakers and friends. He was a blessing to all who knew him. He was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church.

Survivors include: his father, Bob Maxwell of Calvary, GA; sister, Jeanna Bryant (Travis) of Tallahassee, FL; nephews, Will Bryant, Sam Bryant, both of Tallahassee, FL; grandmother, Jean Standley of Havana, FL; aunts and uncles, Bill Maxwell, Ann Gregory, both of Calvary, GA, Bill Standley (Susan) of Lloyd, FL, Mike Standley (Donna) of Freeport, FL, Jimmy Standley (Nancy) of Tallahassee, FL, Sammy Standley (Lavanda) of Calvary, GA, Fay Armstrong (Brian) of Tallahassee, FL; and his special caretaker, Annie Doris Harrison.

He was preceded in death by: his mother, Jeanette Maxwell; grandparents, Elvie and Kyle Maxwell; great-grandparents, Yvonne and Howard Gray; and an uncle, H. W. Maxwell.

The family will receive friends in the church immediately following the service.
