Funeral services for Lula Marie Anderson Barrineau, 99, of Cairo, GA, are at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 20, 2018, at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, GA. Rev. Robert Crapps will officiate. Services will conclude at the chapel. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Cairo, GA. Mrs. Barrineau passed away at her daughter’s home in Cairo, GA, on Wednesday, October 17, 2018.

Mrs. Barrineau was born on December 9, 1918, in Cairo, GA, to the late William J. Anderson and Lula Elizabeth Cross Anderson. On March 15, 1937, she married Marvin C. Barrineau, who preceded her in death on June 8, 2004. She was a homemaker and a member of the Providence Baptist Church in Whigham.

Survivors include: her children, Leland Barrineau of Cairo, GA, Diane Faircloth (Rodney) of Cairo, GA; grandchildren, Kay Mitchell (Jerry) of Cairo, GA, Carmen Osborn (London) of Bainbridge, GA, Cheryl Williams (David) of Cairo, GA, Ricky Cooper (Darlene) of Climax, GA, Stacey Faircloth (Michelle) of Panama City, FL, Shawn Faircloth of Cairo, GA, Dewayne Barrineau (Rachel) of Tallahassee, FL; 7 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband; daughters, Claudia B. Johnson, Sarah B. Barwick; son, Cecil Barrineau; grandchildren, Timmy Cooper, James Glenn “Buddy” Barwick; great-grandchildren, Regina Cooper Thompson, Tyler Glenn Davis; brothers, James McCoy Anderson, William Percy Anderson, Gordon Franklin Anderson, J. P. Anderson; and sisters, Georgia Halstead, Mattie Griner, Nina Harrison.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home immediately following the service.
