John “Brad” Larsen
April 19, 1966 – January 26, 2019

Memorial services for John “Brad” Larsen, 52, of Whigham, GA, are at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 6, 2019, at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, GA. Rev. Ricky Pearson will officiate. Services will conclude at the chapel. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Cairo, GA. Mr. Larsen passed away at his home in Whigham, GA, on Saturday, January 26, 2019.

Mr. Larsen was born on April 19, 1966, in Sioux City, IA to John R. Larsen and Cathy Bland Larsen, who survives. He was a union carpenter and foreman in Chicago area for over 20 years. On October 13, 2007, he married Susan Ballangee Larsen, who preceded him in death on May 31, 2016. John loved playing baseball, watching the Chicago Cubs and following the Chicago Bears. He also enjoyed fishing, camping and hunting. He was a member of Our Father’s House in Cairo.

Survivors include: his children, Matthew B. Larsen of New York, NY, Kaittlin Larsen Dickinson (Mike) of Cedar Rapids, IA, Mitch Larsen of Joliet, IL; grandchildren, Jaxon Dickinson, Preston Dickinson; parents, John R. and Cathy Bland Larsen of Dixon, IL; and brother, Jeff Larsen of Arlington, TX; step-sons, Kevin Ballangee (Hillary), Kenneth Smith; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family members.
