Memorial services for Alan Harris “Sput” Fountain, 61, of Climax, GA, are at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 16, 2019, at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, GA. Pastor Johnny H. Moore will officiate. Mr. Fountain passed away at his home in Climax, GA, on Wednesday, February 13, 2019.

Mr. Fountain was born on November 3, 1957, in Atlanta, GA, to the late Albert Leroy Fountain, Sr. and Mary Agnes Hall Fountain. He retired from Camilla Ford after 41 years of service as a mechanic. He loved photography, fishing and working in his yard. Sput was a lover of art work. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle in his spare time. He was a member of Family Worship Center in Cairo.

Survivors include: daughter, Angela Leigh Fountain on Clewiston, FL; son, John David Fountain of Boynton, FL; a sister, Fredia Fountain of Thomasville, GA; and his loving partner, Rebecca Long of Climax, GA; and his favorite canine companion, Ernest-T Fountain.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Albert Leroy Fountain, Jr.

The family will receive friends immediately following the memorial service.
