Funeral services for Eric Todd Horton, 45, of Whigham, GA, are at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, August 25, 2019, at Pine Level Baptist Church, Cairo, GA. Rev. Stacy Williamson and Rev. Jim Weaver will officiate. Interment will be in Pine Level Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Horton passed away at his home in Whigham, GA, on Thursday, August 22, 2019.
Active pallbearers will be Jay Sellars, Caylor Outz, Curtis Lashley, David Lashley, Rodney VanLandingham and Weldon Whigham.
Mr. Horton was born on December 13, 1973, in Tallahassee, FL, to the late Henry J. Horton, Jr. and Betty Sue Nixon Horton. On August 28, 2008, he married Mary Faircloth Horton, who survives. He was a graduate of Cairo High School. He was a truck driver with Total Petroleum in Bainbridge, GA. He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include: his wife, Mary Horton of Whigham, GA; son, Todd Horton, Jr. of Whigham, GA; step-children, Melvin Sharpe (Tara) of Bainbridge, GA, Dewayne Sharpe of Cairo, GA, Justin McGinty (Ana) of Cairo, GA; 5 grandchildren; mother, Betty Horton of Cairo, GA; sister, Cindy Wolowinski of Cairo, GA; father-in-law, Gordon Faircloth of Climax, GA; nephew, Brooks Wolowinski of Cairo, GA; niece, Codi Wolowinski of Cairo, GA; and a great-niece, Aubrey Loos of Cairo, GA.
He was preceded in death by: father; twin brothers, Scotty Horton and Jeffrey Horton; grandparents, Henry and Lois Horton; and mother-in-law, Glenda Faircloth.
The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Saturday, Saturday, August 24, 2019, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
