Funeral services for Charles O’Neal Baggett, 78, of Cairo, GA, are at 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 30, 2019, at Pine Hill Baptist Church, Cairo, GA. Rev. Eli Hendricks and Rev. Charles Coleman will officiate. Services will conclude in the church. Private interment will be in Pine Hill Cemetery, Cairo, GA. Mr. Baggett passed away at Baptist Medical Center South in Prattville, AL, on Saturday, August 24, 2019.

Active pallbearers will be Trey Hall, Benton Brothers, Matthew Davis, Slade Baggett, Storm Clark and Kennison Clark. Honorary pallbearer will be Brian Miller.

Mr. Baggett was born on March 1, 1941, in Cairo, GA, to the late Charlie F. Baggett and Annie Lee Kinney Baggett. He served his country in the United States Coast Guard. On January 16, 1965, he married Beth Miller Baggett, who survives. Neal retired from the Grady County Farm Bureau. He was the pastor of Pine Hill Holiness Church.

Survivors include: his wife, Beth Baggett of Cairo, GA; daughters, Barbara Clark (Greg) of Cairo, GA, Dawn Roy (Jeff) Deatsville, AL, Tina Contreras (Michael) of Dawsonville, GA; son, Kevin Baggett (Brandy) of Cairo, GA; grandchildren, Storm Clark, Kennison Clark, Kayla Davis (Matthew), Shelby Ingram (Blake), Trey Hall, Baylee Brothers (Benton), Dawson Roy, Joy Baggett, Slade Baggett, Turner Mabry Baggett, Madison Adams (Preston), Kennedy Contreras; great-grandchildren, Grayson Hall, Campbell Davis; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; his sisters, Pearl Tutten, Nadine Cherry; and brothers, Lloyd Baggett, Paul Baggett.

The family will receive friends at Pine Hill Baptist Church on Friday, August 30, 2019, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
