Cathy Maudine Mortola April 20, 1958 – August 24, 2019

Cathy Maudine Mortola, 61, of Cairo, GA, passed away at her home in Cairo, GA, on Saturday, August 24, 2019. Family and friends will gather at the Fellowship Hall of Our Father’s House, 165 Midway Road, Cairo, GA, on Friday, August 30, 2019, at 5:00 p.m.

Mrs. Mortola was born on April 20, 1958, in Winder, GA, to the late Sylvanius Edward Lee and Geneva Teeter Lee. She was a homemaker and of the Christian faith.

Survivors include: the love of her life, George Mortola of Tampa, FL; daughters, Crystal Cooper (Buddy) of Ochlocknee, GA, Tanya Pearce (Ricky) of Cairo, GA, Michelle Mortola of Tampa, FL; son, David Hardwick, Jr. (Lisa) of Cairo, GA; grandchildren, Levi Cooper, Cathy Smallwood, Kayla Hardwick, Cassie Hardwick, Brittany Hardwick, Chelsi Johnson (Brandon), Cynthia Whitfield, Liam Eley, JohnLuke Johnson; brother, Jackie Lee of Cairo, GA; favorite niece, Tabitha Whitfield; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; and a brother, Frankie Lee.
