Funeral services for Euvene Mathis Brinson, 85, of Cairo, GA, are at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, Saturday, September 7, 2019, at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, GA. Rev. Ron McCaskill will officiate. Service will conclude at the chapel. Private interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Cairo, GA. Mrs. Brinson passed away on Monday, September 2, 2019, after a strong battle with cancer, and is now back in the arms of her beloved predeceased husband, Alfred Brinson.

Our Mom, Euvene, was born on December 6, 1933, to Clyde and Fondern Mathis in Cairo, GA, and grew up there. Shortly after marrying Alfred Brinson, they moved to South Florida where they lived for 30 years, and eventually retired back to Cairo. Her beloved husband, Alfred, predeceased her in 2013, but she is survived by: her five children. Abbie Wasserman (and husband, Barry), Angela Williams (and husband, Ronald), Alfred Daryl Brinson (and wife, Kimberly), Barry Scott Brinson (and wife, Tonya), Bonnie Doyle (and husband, Tim)(and ex-husband, Robert Snow); 11 grandchildren, Keith Wasserman, Kevin Wasserman, Kristi Strand, Ronald Williams, Carrie Arnold, Charlie Brinson, Kathleen Brinson, Cory Brinson, Jennifer Galan, Jake Snow and Randy Snow; 22 great-grandchildren, Jason, Nikko, Gabby, Logan, Meah, Kaylyn, Cole, Dalton, Ryder, Raegen, Jayce, Lily, Kyle, Cody, Benny, Paisley, Antonio, Skylar, Malakai, Madison, Lily, Raegen; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mom will be missed as she was our anchor and guiding light throughout our childhood and adult life.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mrs. Brinson’s memory to: Miss Kitty Feline Sanctuary, 425 Covington Ave, Thomasville, GA 31792.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home immediately following the funeral service.
