Funeral services for Dwight Hayward Lodge, 81, of Whigham, GA, are at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, September 12, 2019, at Springhill United Methodist Church, Whigham, GA. Rev. Steve Wooten and Rev. David Hibberts will officiate. Military Honors and Masonic Rites will be presented. Services will conclude in the church. Private interment will be in Springhill United Methodist Church Cemetery, Cairo, GA. Mr. Lodge passed away at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville, GA, on Monday, September 9, 2019.

Mr. Lodge was born on June 17, 1938, in Whigham, GA, to the late Willie Green Lodge and Ruby Barfield Lodge. He served his country in the United States Air Force. Dwight was a retired truck driver for McKee Baking Company. On March 6, 2009, he married Faye Jordan Lodge, who survives. He was of the Methodist faith.

Survivors include: his wife, Faye B. Lodge of Whigham, GA; daughter, Kimberly L. Graves (Don) of Winter Haven, FL; son, Dwight Lodge, Jr. (Lynn) of Auburndale, FL; grandchildren, Christy Lodge, Ashley Mathis, Allyson Anderson (Josh), Ashley Thompson, Ashley Jordan, Tyler Harding, Megan Harding, Taylor Jordan, Mallory Jordan, Chase Jordan; great-grandchildren, Avery Anderson and Jaxson Anderson; sisters, Juanita Perkins of Cairo, GA, Pat Garrett of Ft. Walton Beach, FL, Ouida Huber of Cairo, GA; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; his first wife, Sarah Frances Wheeler Lodge, who preceded him in death on September 18, 2006; and five brothers and three sisters.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 11, 2019, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
