Danny Lamar Cliett

Danny Lamar Cliett, 71, of Cairo, GA, passed away at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville, GA, on Wednesday, December 11, 2019. The family will have private memorial service at a later date.

Mr. Cliett was born on December 13, 1947, in Cairo, GA, to the late Milton J. Cliett and Mary Helen Hall Cliett. On July 2, 1983, he married Martha Jane Butler Cliett, who preceded him in death on September 4, 2019. They were married for 36 years. Danny was a machinist with Coats and Clark, Inc. He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include: his daughters, Sherrie Jones (Heath) of Whigham, GA, Heather Womble (John) of Cairo, GA; grandchildren, Bradley Jones (Hope) of Cairo, GA, Kolby Jones of Whigham, GA, Ace Womble of Cairo, GA, Marleigh Womble of Cairo, GA, Jordyn Johnson of Cairo, GA; great-granddaughter, Amelia Jones of Cairo, GA; sisters, Sandra Rackley (Dennis) of Cairo, GA, Inez Horne of Dublin, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; his wife; and a son, Brandon Lamar Cliett.
