Elaine Sadler Clark

Memorial services for Elaine Sadler Clark, 86, of Dothan, AL, formerly of Cairo, GA, are at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 14, 2020, at the Cairo Presbyterian Church, Cairo, GA. Rev. Becky Willis will officiate. Services will conclude at the church. Mrs. Clark passed away at her home in Dothan, AL, surrounded by her loving family on Monday, March 9, 2020.
Mrs. Clark was born on October 20, 1933, in Thomasville, GA, to the late Hillman R. Sadler and Ebon B. Barrett Sadler. On May 31, 1954, she married Adrian Clark, who survives. Early in her career, she worked at Citizens Bank in Cairo and later she retired from the Torrington Company in Cairo as the TQM Trainer. Elaine was a member of the Cairo Presbyterian Church where she served for many years as treasurer and as a Sunday school teacher. She had many joys in life. She loved singing in her church, gospel music and all kinds of flowers. She was an avid reader. Elaine was always looking for opportunities to help others. She had an unshakable faith in her Lord. Her greatest joy in her life was her family. Nothing thrilled her more than spending time with her four grandchildren, who called her Grammy.
Survivors include: her husband, Adrian Clark of Dothan, AL; her daughters, Beth McCann (Mick) of Bend, OR, Lynn Lovett (Jim) of Tifton, GA, Lori Wilcoxon (Ken) of Dothan, AL; grandchildren, Sarah Lovett of Atlanta, GA, Pierce Lovett of Augusta, GA, Rachael Lovett of Atlanta, GA, Megann Wilcoxon of Dothan, AL; brother, Wilbur Sadler (Jerri) of Daytona Beach, FL; sisters, Hazel Sellers (Al) of Lagrange, GA, Frances Moore of Crawfordville, FL; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorials may be made in Mrs. Clark’s memory to the Cairo Presbyterian Church, P. O. Box 207, Cairo, GA 39828.
The family will receive friends at the Cairo Presbyterian Church immediately following the memorial service.
