Jewell Nadine Glover
March 27, 1931 – April 12, 2020

Jewell Nadine Glover, 89, of Cairo, GA, passed away at Rose City Health and Rehabilitation Center in Thomasville, GA, on April 12, 2020. She will be interred in Woodlawn Cemetery in Whigham, GA. The family will have a memorial service at a later date.

Mrs. Glover was born on March 27, 1931, in Cairo, GA, to the late James M. Godwin and Trudy Hancock Godwin. On October 24, 1950, she married Perry Glover, who preceded her in death on October 23, 1994. They were married for almost 44 years. She retired as a machinist from the Torrington Company after 18 years of service. Nadine was a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors include: grandchildren, Beth Sellars (Jay) of Cairo, GA, Katie Alred (Cody) of St. Augustine, FL, Austin Boyette of Cairo, GA, Adam Glover of Cairo, GA, Tyler Glover of Orlando, FL; great-grandchildren, Ethan Hamilton of Cairo, GA, Austin Sellars of Cairo, GA, Duncan Sellars of Thomasville, GA, Becky Sellars of Thomasville, GA, Nicholas Sellars of Thomasville, GA; great-great-grandchildren, Khloe Sellars, Anden Sellars, both of Cairo, GA; son-in-law, Ronnie Boyette of Cairo, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

She was preceded in death by: parents; husband; daughter, Susan Boyette; son, Jeff Glover; great-granddaughter, Kaydence Sellars; and her brothers, Wayne Godwin, Blaine Godwin.
