Howard Hayes Faircloth

Private funeral services for Howard Hayes Faircloth, 86, of Blountstown, FL, will be held at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, GA. Pastor Michael Morris will officiate. Interment will be in Tired Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Whigham, GA. Mr. Faircloth passed away at Calhoun Liberty Hospital in Blountstown, FL, on Thursday, June 4, 2020.

Mr. Faircloth was born on March 1, 1934, in Cairo, GA, to the late Roy Council Faircloth and Annie Marie Harrison Faircloth. He served his country in the United States Army. On June 6, 1958, he married Betty Ruth Johnson Faircloth, who preceded him in death on June 11, 1999. Howard was a press operator for Globe Ticket Company until his retirement. He loved to fish, travel, and plant large gardens. Howard was a devoted family man and loved being with his family and grandchildren. He was a Christian.

Survivors include: his daughter, Annette Falkenstein (Jim) of Molino, FL; grandchildren, Mandy Ross (Lee) of Grantville, GA, Katelin Locklar of Bonifay, FL; great-grandchildren, Trevor Ross, Kamran Ross, Baylee Ross, all of Grantville, GA; nieces, nephews and extended family. He was preceded in death by parents and his wife.
