Frances Harrison Brown

Private funeral services for Frances Harrison Brown, 88, of Cairo, GA, will be held at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, GA. Rev. Bill Staten will officiate. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Cairo, GA. All relatives attending must wear masks. Mrs. Brown passed away at Magnolia Place Senior Living in Cairo, GA, on Tuesday, June 23, 2020.

Mrs. Brown was born on January 28, 1932, in Whigham, GA, to the late Albert Harrison and Cora Bell Koon Harrison. On July 10, 1949, she married Lawrence Early Brown, who preceded her in death on August 10, 2013. Before retirement, she was a greeter at Walmart. She was a born-again spirit filled Christian and a longtime member of Faith Christian Center in Cairo.

Survivors include: grandchildren, Rana Granger of Cairo, GA, Sandy Haynes (Joe) of Jacksonville Beach, FL; great-grandchildren, Jay Granger of Newton, GA, Liana Granger of Newton, GA, Corey Haynes of Jacksonville Beach, FL, Austin Haynes of Jacksonville Beach, FL; brothers, Roger Harrison (Barbara) of Cairo, GA, A. L. Harrison of Cairo, GA, Wendell Harrison (Judith) of Cairo, GA; sisters, Virginia Stewart of Blairsville, GA, Juanita Dollar of Cairo, GA, Joyce Ritter of Cairo, GA, Linda Voorhees (Timothy) of Callahan, FL; and nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and extended family members.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband; son, Gary Brown; and a sister, Evelyn Stills.
