Willis Fletcher “Bill” Smith

Willis Fletcher “Bill” Smith, 74, of Calvary, GA, passed away at his home on Tuesday, July 7, 2020. The family will have a private memorial service.

Mr. Smith was born on February 19, 1946, in Moultrie, GA, to the late Willis Auston Smith and Bessie Mae Wiggins. He served his country in the United States Air Force. On September 30, 1969, he married Nancy Barfield Smith, who preceded him in death on February 8, 2017. He was self-employed as a mechanic. He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include: children, Franklin Smith of Calvary, GA, Jennifer Turner of Bainbridge, GA, Ann Dentz of Calvary, GA, William Smith of Douglas, GA; and grandchildren, Hannah Dentz Collman and Luke Collman of Moe Victoria Australia, Eion Turner of Bainbridge, GA.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
