Wallace Edward Holley

Graveside funeral services for Wallace Edward Holley, 72, of Cairo, GA, will be on Wednesday, December 30, 2020, in Greenwood Cemetery, Cairo, GA.  Rev. Andrew Donaldson will officiate.  Mr. Holley passed away at Grady General Hospital in Cairo, GA, on Monday, December 28, 2020.

Mr. Holley was born on May 14, 1948, in Cairo, GA, to the late Clarence Edward Holley and Ruby Mae Horton Holley, who survives.  He served his country in the United States Army.  He served in Viet Nam was a Purple Heart recipient.  He was a salesman at Cairo Furniture Company and S&L Furniture Company.  He later started and owned the Pickle Patch Deli in Cairo.  He enjoyed fishing in his retirement.  He was a member of Eastside Baptist Church.

Survivors include his mother, Ruby Mae Horton Holley of Cairo, GA and a brother, Wendell Holley (Betsy) of Gray, GA.  He was preceded in death by his father.
