Patricia Jane Coker
December 2, 1931 – December 30, 2020  

Funeral services for Patricia Jane Coker, 89, of Whigham, GA, are on Saturday, January 2, 2021, at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, GA.  Rev. Nathan Fowler will officiate.  Services will conclude at the chapel.  Private interment will be in Mizpah Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Pelham, GA.  Mrs. Coker passed away at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville, GA, on Wednesday, December 30, 2020.

Active pallbearers will be Jeff Posey, Kurt Posey, Chelsea Coker, John Thomas Hester, Barrett Hester and Jason Rinker.  Honorary pallbearers will be Sandee Rinker, Dena VanLandingham, Lisa Coker, Chris Tucker, Vivian McGalliard, Debbie Baird, Kevin Coker, Greg and Lynn Arline, Ike and Bonnie Godwin.

Mrs. Coker was born on December 2, 1931, to the late William Henry Hurst and Olyn Fletcher Hurst.  On June 19, 1949, she married Hugh Leon Coker, who preceded her in death on November 28, 2008.  She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church.

Survivors include: sons, David Coker of Whigham, GA, Dwane Coker (Teresa) of Cairo, GA; grandchildren, Ervan Coker of Tallahassee, FL, Jason Coker (Katrina) of Cairo, GA, Chadd Coker of Whigham, GA, Chelsea Coker of Cairo, GA; and a host of great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband; daughter-in-law, Debbie Coker; brother, Roger Hurst; and a sister, Marjorie Childers.
