Nora Cecilia Hawthorne Castro
September 26, 1969 – January 1, 2021

Nora Cecilia Hawthorne Castro, 52, of the Republic of Panama passed away on Friday, January 1, 2021.  Mrs. Hawthorne was born on September 26, 1969 in the Republic of Panama to Elnora Maria McFarlane.  On January 21, 1999, she married Earl Owens Hawthorne.  She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, and sister.

Survivors include: her daughter, Nora Kristellys Arauz of the Republic of Panama; mother, Elnora Maria McFarlane of the Republic of Panama; sisters, Doris Ethel McFarlane and Mildred McFarlane, both from New Jersey; and brothers, Jamie Javier Castro and Victor Daniel Castro, both of the Republic of Panama; stepchildren, Fatima Hawthorne Adsett of the Republic of Panama, Natalia Hawthorne of Cairo, GA, James Roger Hawthorne of the Republic of Panama, Michael Domingues of Miami, FL; and step-grandchildren, Jared Barfield of Cairo, GA, Alyssa and Adele Adsett, both of the Republic of Panama, Ana and Hannah Hawthorne, both of the Republic of Panama.

She was proceeded in death by her husband, Earl Owens Hawthorne on December 16, 2020, and stepfather, Kenneth McFarlane.

Her Georgia family includes: mother-in-law, Nathelyn Hawthorne; sister-in-law, Myra Akridge (Steve); brother-in-law, Larry Hawthorne (Betty); step-daughter, Natalia Hawthorne; step-grandson, Jared Barfield; niece, Christy Knapp; great-nephew, Tristan Knapp; great-niece, Robyn Knapp, all of Cairo, GA.  She was loved by all our family.
