Jerry Lynelle Miller

Jerry Lynelle Miller, 92, of Cairo, GA, passed away at Memorial Hospital and Manor in Bainbridge, GA, on Saturday, January 9, 2021.  At the expressed wishes of Jerry, there will be a private family burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Cairo, GA.

Mrs. Miller was born on November 30, 1928, in Cairo, GA, to the late Grover Austin Griner and Mary Elizabeth Davis Griner.  On November 26, 1947, she married Ervin Eugene Miller, who preceded her in death on July 31, 2004.  They were married for 57 years.  She and her husband were retired grocery store owners in Cairo.  They were in business for 30 years.  She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include: her children, Barbara Miller Saunier (Steve) of Recovery, GA, Mike Miller of Tallahassee, FL, Sherri Calhoun (Reggie) of Tallahassee, FL; grandchildren, Richard Tyre, Paul Tyre, Jessica Bilz, Samantha Ferrell, Kimbrly Patchen, Michelle Miller, Emily Demorest, Jacob Miller, Kenny Sulivan and Tori Kibler; 7 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Naomi Wade (Donald) of Thomasville, GA.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband; daughter, Brenda Presnell; and siblings, Robert Griner, Doyle Griner, Bill Griner, Myree Griner Logue.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mrs. Miller’s memory to a charity of your choice.
